minds, campers get to follow in his footsteps by engaging in

a variety of stimulating activities that cut across a wide range of disciplines.  Architecture, building and engineering, chemistry, art and design, spontaneous improvisation, and a healthy dose of the imagination. Fun and learning take place in this unique camp!

Mechanical engineering may sound too complicated for kids, but it’s not. Kids love mechanical engineering because it’s all about machines. What kid doesn’t love exploring how something is made. Discovering what makes it move? Uncovering the secret of how something flies. Understanding what makes it go? Machines, from cars and trucks to pulleys and computers, are cool! The best way to introduce mechanical engineering to kids? A study of one of the greatest mechanical engineers ever, Leonardo da Vinci.
